Less than 10 days, WOO!

...til Christmas, that is. ;)

First, though, I have to comment on my ridiculous amount of coordination this fine day. Black tank top with a white tshirt over it, with my purple explosion sweater over that, black Converse, purple, black and silver nail polish (from a few days ago) and my earbuds are purple. I really did not plan this....also I swear I'm not 12 years old.

Yesterday was fun. Weird at times, but fun. For lunch Big Boss M took all of us planners to Lombardi's and it was DELICIOUS. Being a New Yorker, I'm always skeptical of "THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA EVERRRRR" claims, but I have to say...I finally believe it. This was probably the best pizza I've ever had. And it's allegedly the first pizzeria in America, which is neat. XD

Then I got a package from one of our vendors (in Wisconsin) of roughly 2 pounds of cheese/cheese spread/sausage/chocolate LOL. I am insanely excited to eat the cheddar, omg. I gave K and Boss M the gouda since, while I love pretty much any and all cheeses, it's one I could live without trying. XD NOT THE CHEDDAR THOUGH OH NO.

After work J and I decided to go to the mall. Of course I assumed he suggested it so we could get more shopping (MOST of the remaining shopping!) done, but of course it was because he had a JCPenney's coupon. Men. Anyway, we managed to accomplish both--I finished mom, got brother's GF, and J got himself winter boots and a hat. When we got back I did some wrapping (RAN OUT OF PAPER. FAIL.) and then Top Chef was on!!!!

Top Chef:

Sad to see Happy Dale go, but Stephen was annoying from the get-go, so glad he's gone. Fabio needs to pick it up!!!! I don't think he's going to make it much further. :( But at least my crush on him is pretty much gone and I just enjoy him, whereas my crush on Angelo will not go away and it looks like he might be a contender. XD Other than that, the episode was lackluster in terms of dramaaaz but the challenge itself was one of the most interesting they've ever done. I think they did a terrific job of picking celeb chefs of such distinct styles that it made it both easy to see their points of view but also a challenge to try and emulate it. Very cool.

Tonight SHOULD BE Fringe, but of course its on hiatus until the end of January (when it's moving to Friday night...FAIL ALL AROUND), so I imagine we can watch last week's Supernatural instead. Woo.

When we went to B&N on Sunday I picked up another Supernatural novel and, while it's fun and everything, it's weird to be reading something that takes place during season 5 after everything that's been going on currently in season 6. Though obviously season 5 was better than season 6 (so far) so I'm not really complaining about being thrown back into the hunt for Lucifer. ;)
